WIVES to be… Getting Ready for a Date
November 1st, 2009 | WIVES To Be
Before..
– Never except a date via Text message. Gentlemen should properly call you to ask you out.
– When planning your night out with your date, Let him plan the Evening, Pick the restaurant, make the reservation, Etc. This way you can see how capable and creative he is with out any of your help.
The Day Of…
– Always read the Newspaper from that day or Today’s news online, This way your up to date on Current Events.
– Tidy up and Clean Your Home: So when He arrives to pick you up, you won’t be wishing you should have folded and put away your laundry.
– Take a Bath or Shower: Don’t forget to exfoliate for smooth skin and shave you legs and under arms!
– Moisturize and add a little shimmer lotion so your skin has an extra glow.
– Decide on your make up and hairstyle. Choose a style your comfortable with so you feel beautiful and confident.
– Getting Dressed: Always wear a dress on an evening out with a Gentlemen. Never show to much skin. Either choose to show a little cleavage or a little bit of leg, But Never both. Leave something to their imagination.
On The Date…
– Your date should ALWAYS pick you up. Unless its a Blind date and you feel more comfortable meeting him at the restaurant. Never respond to a man who sits and honks outside, If he is a proper gentlemen then he needs to park his car and walk up to your door to greet you. Make sure he opens your car door and other doors through out the evening… Gently remind him if he forgets.
– As a Gentlemen who’s asked you out, he is financially responsible for taking care of the bill…Not You!
– Bring Your Manners: Always say please and thank you.
After…
– If you had a Delightful time, Write your Date a Thank You Note.
– Be Honest: If you don’t have any interest in seeing him again, be honest with him when he calls to ask you out again. It’s very immature to just ignore someones calls or blow him off. You would never want a guy to do that to you. So practice good Karma

Amen, Taryn!
Ladies, don't think this is antiquated advice – these are pearls of wisdom! Do not reduce yourself to lowered expectations and the equivalent behavior that comes with it. The framework of a single first date could become the framework of your future marriage!!!
