Veronica and I got Photographed ( Top Right ) for OK Magazine in honor of the Annual Kitt’s Summer Barbaque at The Hurlingham Club in London, Hosted by Duncan Sterling and Charlie Gilkes.

We Arrived in Venice, The Floating City…. I was Exhausted from a sleepless night of Insane thunderstorms on Lake Como. All of us girls were woken up around 4:00am, Terrified of the cracking lightening that hit in the back rose garden and roaring thunder that loomed above. The Window shutters rattled back and fourth as we tried to shut them. All the while remembering in such great detail the ghost stories that were told the night prior. Frightened out of wits we managed to get another hour of sleep before hitting the road to Venice.

Jenny, Veronica, Sophie and I excited to be on a boat taking in the sights of Venice!
Sighhh!

When my dear friends, Gabby and Noah mentioned they had no one lined up to watch their 6 month old puppy, Poppy, I gladly volunteered. With my maternal instincts in tact I picked up Poppy Friday evening, just in time for Gabby, 9 months pregnant to be induced into labor Sunday night…. Ironically over Labor Day Weekend! Haha!
What joy this little dog has brought into My life. My sheer happiness for the last two weeks has come from this teenie tiny puppy, Poppy. I very quickly discovered that her and I share very similar personalities, which made for great chemistry for the two of us to get along. Not once did Poppy have an accident in the house, not once did she bark…. Needless to say she made the perfect house guest. Her Charismatic behavior and expressions made me laugh out loud dozens of times through out the day. Each time making my heart smile… Life was better with Poppy in it.
Sadly last night…. after postponing her return home three times because I could part ways with her cute face…. Poppy had to go home thus returning back to normal life. I miss her soo much!
Poppy and I pose for a photo shoot after an afternoon walk in the park.

A quick Glimpse into our Sleeping Quarters…. The Guest Wing of the House.
I was lucky enough to get one of the only beds with an antique mosquito net… Due to the very hot weather, in the evenings we had to sleep with the windows open, but of course leaving them open was very convenient for pesky mosquito’s to nibble on our arms and legs.

My Favorite Antique Typewriter I received for Christmas last year. After seeing my friend Mikey’s collection of typewriters, I instantly wanted one of my own. And Lucky me, I got 2 for Christmas: an Antique Erica Typewriter from Paris and a 1950’s Remington Typewriter. This week I picked up the Remington from being restored and ever since I’ve been a typing fool…. Thank you notes to Correspondence Letters! Although I have to say… It is a very complicated process to learn to type on a typewriter, Its basically like using a very very old and complicated computer key board. Let me tell you… Lots of impatient meltdowns after fudged up letters…. But after a While I got the hang of it.
My Writing Desk…
Left to Right : 1. On Top of my White Desk sits an old vintage map of Paris, to remind me of one of my Favorite Cities! 2. My Antique Erica Typewriter. 3. A framed photo of the classic Blue Tiffany and Co. Engagement Box, I love thinking that with the ask one question your life changes and your on your way to becoming a WIFE! 4. A stationary box containing custom pale pink stationary from Smthyson.
A Pink Scented Candle. 5. White Cup that holds my favorite Calligraphy pens for Writing and Addressing Letters. 6. A White Candlestick Desk Lamp and Antique Tape Dispenser.
Inside the desk holds cards for all occasions ranging from Birthdays to Weddings to Sympathy. I have An assortment of stamps ranging in many colors so they of course match each envelope mailed. Also my favorite finishing touch… Wax Seals… My desk houses every color of wax and my classic “T” Seal for Taryn.
