A frequent and sometimes embarrassing complaint amongst many women tends to be gas, wind and bloating, as well as IBS type symptoms, which can occur intermittently or for longer periods of time. These symptoms can arise for many reasons from stress to intolerances or even an imbalance in gut microflora, but very often just some tweaks in the diet may help. Here are some top tips to help with digestive health:
- It sounds simple but remember to CHEW YOUR FOOD! In our hectic lives we always tend to forget this simple thing. Chewing ensures that food can be broken down effectively putting less stress on the rest of the digestive process.
- Equally you may find that when you’re stressed your stomach is in ‘knots’. Always take some time out to sit down and eat meals, never eat on the run.

The East Coast wives are probably no stranger to The Blue Print cleanse program, but for us West Coast wives you can now buy single Blue Print juices at Whole Foods Market! Launched in 2007 you only had access to their fresh pressed juices via online delivery service. Now us California gals have the same privileges as our fellow New Yorkers, we get to throw single Blue Print juices into our carts while grocery shopping or buy in bulk for a cleanse. They are quite pricey compared to Pressed Juicery, a single bottle of juice will cost you around $10.00 due to the fact that they are certified organic and raw.

Alkaline water is produced by water ionizing equipment that uses electrolysis, the machine separates the water into acidic and alkaline channels. Alkaline water detoxifies the body helping neutralize stored acids, preventing toxins from accumulating and has antioxidant properties that help ward off illnesses like cancer and other diseases. It helps carry oxygen to cells, cleaning air in the lungs, and strengthens organs to absorb nutrients and vitamins. Alkaline water also hydrates the body more quickly rejuvenating skin, improving circulation and the metabolic rate in the body, which in turn helps to lose weight and burn fat at a faster pace.
