Kings of Leon’s fifth album “Come Around Sundown” came out last month and has been on repeat in my car ever since. I can’t get enough of their music, heavily influenced on this album by their Southern back wood roots in “Radioactive” and reconnecting with Southern beats in “Back Down South.” The band hit a high point in popularity with their last album “Only by The Night” won Grammys and they started selling out arenas, but I’ve been a devoted fan of KOL ever since their second album “Aha Shake Heartbreak.” Must download and Favorites on this album include: “The End,” “The Immortals,” and “Pick Up Truck” available on iTunes for $14.99 – Taryn Cox for The Wife

Beach House must be onto something special as ‘Teen Dream’ is one of my favorite albums I’ve discovered this Summer. Its an album you can listen to from start to finish and still be craving more. ‘Teen Dream’ is Perfect to play when winding down from a stressful day or to take on a long road trip. The Beach House duo has created the most beautiful and graceful music, with dreamy songs like “Walk in The Park” and “Love of Mine”. Beach House will be opening for Vampire Weekend this Sunday at The Hollywood Bowl. – Taryn Cox for The Wife

Just in Time for Spring, Vampire Weekend released their bright sophomore album ‘Contra’, packed with tons of orchestral confetti. Their happy go lucky tunes like “Giving up the Gun” and “Horchata” are perfect to welcome the spring, knowing that Summer sun is just around the corner. A Favorite of mine is “Diplomat’s Son” with reggae influences, makes you wish you were on a sun drenched beach. The entire album instantly put you in a good mood, its like being in a Disneyland parade. Contra is a must own album for 2010! – THE WIFE
