All Summer in London there were quiet murmurings of a mystery island in England where socialites, celebrities and the jetset went for wild weekends away. The mysterious destination in question…. Osea Island, which has hosted 5 exclusive events over the last few months. Luckily I was one of the selected few that received an invite to experience the island for myself. My invite came in mid June along with 80 other guests. Our host for the weekend was Music Producer, Nigel Frieda, owner of the 400 acre island which is just a few miles from the town of Maldon, in the middle of Essex’s Blackwater Estuary. What a lucky girl I was to get to preview the curated jewelry collection by Talisman Gallery at Harvey Nicks before opening time. Like a fat kid who loves cake I got to have the entire store to myself to try on anything I pleased. Based out of London, Talisman Gallery showcases the very best in contemporary gold jewelry from around the world. All morning I got to drape my neck with delicate 18k gold necklaces by Natasha Dahlberg, pile on bracelets, and try on gold and gemstone drop earrings from LA DiOSA.
Nobody has an eye for bold and brave gemstones like Lesley Schiff who founded Talisman Gallery in 1983. For over 30 years Talisman has been on showcase at Harvey Nichol’s, selling the works of many designers from all around the world. As opposed to being sold online Lesly believes “The best way to purchase jewelry is to handle it in person, look at it and try on each piece.”

Next on THE WIFE’s Tour of up and coming London Jewelry Designers is Hattie Rickards. For the last 12 years Hattie’s background, expertise and passion have been jewelry design. All of her creations are something personal and distinctive stemming from a life-long obsession with jewelry. All of her playful gold pieces tell a unique story, which is probably why she was awarded the coveted accolade of ‘Bright Young Gem of 2011’ by International Jewellery London.
"THE WIFE" is for the timeless wife or elegant wife to be. Whether THE WIFE favors a career working in the corporate world or has dedicated her time and efforts as a housewife, She always maintains a happy and healthy family. THE WIFE is an astounding woman and amazing mother, who proudly makes time for her husband and children.
