My Favorite Christmas Presents…

My Antique 1920’s Typewriter….

Now There are only 2 men in my life that have ever pulled off everything flawlessly. The Charming Alexander and Thoughtful Dylan, and this speaks loudly as I’m the most impossible person to please! *Men take note: Sooo About 2 months ago I mention in passing to my dear friend Dylan that I want a Vintage Typewriter for Christmas. Not only does this stay with his memory, but he bid at an auction in Paris for this very typewriter photographed above, sent it away to be cleaned and restored. Then had it shipped ( and wrapped in my favorite classic brown shipping paper ) just in time for me to open on christmas eve! Now THAT is how you give a gift! And has even inspired me to turn my desk into an elegant proper writing desk!

My Personal Planetarium

At night this amazing tiny little machine displays 10,000 stars and glittering cosmos on your ceiling. It also has settings to make the stars rotate and has a shooting star mode. Turning my bedroom into an outdoor stargazing phenomenon. It has to be one of  the coolest things to fall asleep to. Instead of counting sheep, you can count the constellations while snuggled up comfortably indoors!

Brentwood Country Mart

The Brentwood Country Mart is one of my favorite places to go on any given sunny afternoon. Not only are the stores Picturesk, but the countrymart has set the scene with the cutest moms and kids.

The Post office is like one of the post offices out of the 1950’s, were the postal people are actually friendlly and happy to help. Not only can you mail your parcels delightfully, but they have an umbundance of the cutest treats to look at while you wait. All unesecary of course, but it’s adorbale display will have you impulse buying in no time.

Broken English is one of the best jewlrey stores in los angeles, owner Laura Freeman has created an amazing boutiuqe with her great eye for buying unforgettablee pieces. and her unique and genuis way/finds of displaying jewlrey has always been a personal favorite of mine.
If jewlrey isnt for you, Pop over to the selima et Benjimin Optique, They have the best assortment of sunglasses.

Poppy the local Children’s store has Fabulous children’s clothing and treats.. from floral dreeses for girls, to satin bow barrets, to worldy books for kids. you’ll definitly find something for your little tyke.

If you get hungry the country mart has the best comfort food to munch on. Including my favorite garden burger in la at Barney’s burgers and La City Bakery for the healthy conscience wife. After lunch stop at Eldewiess for a couple dark chocolate covered apricots.
