Maison Dauphin was the breakout star of high jewelry presentations during couture week this year. This contemporary jewelry house was created by Charlotte Dauphin de La Rouchefoucauld, who chose her maiden name to carry her first fine jewelry collection. Through a process of rare impressions, borrowing lines and volume from architecture and sculpture, Charlotte aimed and succeeded to conceive a contemporary language of jewelry. Unique and timeless, the small collection of 21 gold pieces has contours molded to accommodate the body’s movements and are influenced by abstraction, geometry and expressionism of the form.
Dauphin launched back in January and included a piece of ‘Haute Joaillerie” entirely set by hand to pay homage to traditional craftsmanship.
