The well known restaurant, Orso, has been replaced with Seth MacPherson’s phenomenal creation il Covo! I first ventured to the newly re-constructed restaurant two weeks ago for Father’s day dinner. Chef, Roberto Maggioni, has created the most exquisite cuisine to rival the Italian favorite, Giorgio Baldi. Look for sensational specials like seasonal truffles, as well as specialty grilled meats, Ossobuco and delicate seafood dishes like grilled Branzino complimented by a wonderful regional wine list. A must order for dessert is the Panna Cotta with Aged Balsamic Syrup… My favorite! When calling for a reservation be sure to book on the private patio. – Taryn Cox for THE WIFE.
