On their debut, “Sigh No More”, English quartet ‘Mumford and Sons’ cooked up a rousing, romantic, folk, rock perfect for sloshed barroom sing-a-longs. This is an album that will knock you over at first. But when you gather yourself, get back on your feet and listen again, you’ll want to hit the play button multiple times. They have accomplished bluegrass and folk into an Irish country hybrid. It was been critically praised and talked about on Rolling Stone as one of the best albums of the year. Needless to say, I came to the party late and haven’t listen to this album until a week ago. My favorites on mine include: “Sigh No More,” “The Cave” and “Roll Away Your Stone,” “Little Lion Man,” and “Dust Bowl Dance.” Available on iTunes Now – Taryn Cox for THE WIFE
