We’ve all visited Laduree and oh’d and ah’d over the gorgeously packed pastel macaroons, but what always sold me was the packaging not the taste. Paulette Koumetz, the celebrated French pastry chef, that has a passion for reinventing the classic almond cookie infused with tastey ganache. Stroll into her shop just off Beverly Drive and the vivid hues of macaroons with have your mouth watering.
