Phillips goes on to say… “I was directly inspired by the spirit of this collection, which plays on the contrast between classicism and a visionary imagination. This young woman had to have a pure and natural face, but also display a highly expressive “artificial” element. This dichotomy is a reproduction of the runway show décor, which sees orchids springing from a futuristic setting. Continuing this theme of duality, I wanted to emphasize the strength and fragility of this young woman.”
Peter emphasized a strong eye as the focal point of the make-up look using Dior Silver Eyes Eyeliner (available in November 2014) for the upper lash and Dior Crayon Khol in white for the inside of the lower lash line for a strong luminous look. The eyelid was made up using 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Candy Choc (available in October 2014)
Beautiful matte skin was made possible with Dior Pore Minimizer Skin Refining Matte Primer in combination with Diorskin Star Foundation (Available September 2014) and Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen for highlighting. For a hint of minimal color Peter used DiorBlush Vibrant Color Powder Blush in My Rose on cheeks and Rouge Dior Lipstick in Tromp d’Oeil with Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in Pink.
