 THE WIFE™ recently teamed up with Lincoln Motor Cars for an exclusive getaway at the Lincoln Black Label House in Los Angeles. As Founder and Creator of THE WIFE™, I gathered three friends and headed to the Hollywood Hills property to experience the ultimate in luxury, comfort and service. The house was brought to life by the design teams at Lincoln, Condé Nast and Home NYC, featuring a curated collection of interior designer themes: Oasis, Center Stage, Indulgence and Modern Heritage. Each theme is based on a current Lincoln Black Label Vehicle – an ownership experience designed to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning luxury client. Engaging the senses and imagination with meticulously rare, high-end materials and a host of exclusive membership privileges.

Lincoln gave us the opportunity to choose which theme we wanted to represent our vehicle and stay. Our decision unanimously landed on Oasis. Oasis speaks to those who want to reduce the chaos in their lives and escape to a luxurious, calm, peaceful environment; and after a stressful week, unwinding at an Oasis in the California desert was exactly what we needed. Upon our arrival we were treated to our own Black Label MKC, personal concierge and sumptuous extras handpicked to ensure our stay felt truly tailored.

We also worked with a Condé Nast Traveler Specialist, who booked exclusive Black Label themed experiences for us during our stay. All weekend long we were whisked away in our stylish MKC to relaxing spa treatments at The Montage Beverly Hills and to tasty dinners around town. We came up with any excuse or errand to drive the luxury SUV… up to Lake Hollywood for long morning walks, Whole Foods to stock up the state of the art kitchen for lazy lunches poolside and supplies for late night Smore’s around the outdoor fire pit.

Although to really get a feel for the luxury SUV, we decided to break in our Oasis MKC on the open road and head to Malibu. It was then we really got to experience the MKC’s handy features. Our Black Label MKC was literally an Oasis, characterized by a harmonious, subtle, two-tone interior in soothing shades of cream and tan.

Once in the driver’s seat, sitting comfortably on Venetian leather and surrounded by rich woods, we set off towards the sea. The most fun feature was the Enhanced THX II Sound System, which complemented the Music Is My Boyfriend Playlists. The Hands Free Active Park Assist was great for the crowded beach parking, as the car can basically park it’s self; while The Hand Free Lifegate was perfect for all our Malibu Countrymart purchases.
