Gourmet doughnuts have FINALLY arrived in Newport Beach! Sidecar is the brainchild of Brooke Des Prez and Sumter Pendergrast, a creative duo infusing an exciting, soulful energy into the art of doughnut making.
Each doughnut is made from scratch with only the freshest possible ingredients from local producers and distributors. Sidecar features yeast-raised, cake, and buttermilk old-fashioned varieties, which are dressed up with a little something extra like fresh fruit, artisan chocolate, and even bacon. From your first bite, you will surely agree that these are no ordinary doughnuts with creative flavors like: Huckleberry, guava, cornbread with brown butter glaze, Samoa (based on the girl scout cookie), rosemary, banana nutella and fruit filled with Madagascar vanilla bean glaze.
